Twin Cities KTC AND Hay river KTC Buddhist Meditation Centers

As has been said by our beloved guru, Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, the total embodiment of the great enlightened compassion of all victorious buddhas bears the name Avalokita in Sanskrit, or Chenrezik in Tibetan, and his altruistic heart and enlightened activity act ceaselessly to benefit beings and guide them to liberation. [See Chenrezik: For the Benefit of All Beings, by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche.]

Hay River KTC, and other dharma centers around the world, perform the Chenrezig Amitabha group practice once a month for the benefit of all beings. The Tibetan title of this sadhana of the noble Avalokita is Drodon Khakhyapma, “pervasive benefit for beings”. Though physical meetings are suspended due to the pandemic, our kind Lama is providing online teachings and practice instructions.

At 10:30 a.m. Central Time on the third Sunday of each month (see the Schedule page for any changes), Lama Yeshe will lead us in this beautiful practice online using Zoom.

All are invited to join in and chant these beautiful prayers from home.

(Please sign up for our newsletter or send an email to [email protected] if you wish to receive the Zoom link and other important announcements.)
