Engendering Bodhicitta
Lama Yeshe will teach on bodhicitta, which means the mind of awakening. Bodhicitta has two aspects – ultimate and relative. Ultimate Bodhicitta is wisdom that sees the way things are, that everything arises due to causes and conditions. Relative bodhicitta is compassion. We start developing bodhicitta with the aspiration to free beings from suffering. Engendering bodhicitta involves making aspirations, acting on those aspirations and ultimately leads a practitioner to egolessness. Lama Yeshe teaches in person at the Hay River KTC Buddhist Meditation Center outside Ridgeland, WI. Zoom access is also provided.
