The second class will discuss specific methods that are useful for nurturing ourselves and others. Resiliency and forgiveness are important tools for increasing our peace of mind. We can learn to work with our thoughts and emotions instead of being controlled by them. This can help when feelings of fear, anxiety and depression arise. When life presents us with very difficult situations, we can be pulled down. We can also be resilient and bounce back. We have the opportunity to grow and find ourselves in a better place than before. It is our choice.
