When we engage in these three aspects of sitting meditation while we are on the cushion, our practice develops and our mind gradually settles down. There is a carry over effect that we take into our daily life producing more mental stability. We can also use these three techniques in our daily lives to actively work with our mind when we are not on the cushion.
