Green Tara puja. Tara is a fully enlightened being from the view of the ultimate. She is the perfection of wisdom, prajnaparamita. She is called the mother of the Buddhas because one has to perfect wisdom before attaining enlightenment. Tara quickly liberates one from suffering and one of her Tibetan names, DROLMA, means female liberator. There are 21 forms of Tara. The Green Tara puja is done at KTD and many monasteries and nunneries early in the morning to begin the day. Teaching on the Short Amitabha Practice (recorded September 13, 2020). We chant a prayer to Buddha Amitabha every month, immediately following our prayers to the great bodhisattva Chenrezig. Equanimity (recorded October 17, 2020). Equanimity has an aspect of looking and therefore seeing clearly but not getting sucked into the chaos. Another aspect is to see with patience. Watch the recording.

Gratitude and Appreciation (recorded November 21, 2020). Thanksgiving is a few days after this talk. It is important to examine our lives looking for how we have benefited from the actions of others as well as from the physical environment. Gratitude springs from this. It is a very healthy feeling. THE WHEEL OF LIFE

In winter 2020 – 2021, Lama Yeshe gave a series of teachings on the Wheel of Life thangka painting.

Wheel of Life: Mental Afflictions, Dec. 13, 2020. Recording. This is the first of a series of teaching on the Wheel of Life thanka painting. This specific teaching discusses the mental afflictions.

Wheel of Life: Karma, Dec. 19, 2020. Recording. This teaching covers karma, which either leads to happiness or suffering, and rebirth within samsara or escape to a pure realm.

Wheel of Life: the Six Realms of Samsara, Dec. 26, 2020. Recording. This talk looks at the six realms that beings abide in, and the psychology behind each one.

Wheel of Life: the 12 Links of Interdependence, Jan. 2, 2021. Recording. The twelve links of interdependence explain how we go through one life after another without the ability to get out.

Wheel of Life: Fruition and the Five Buddha Families, Jan. 16, 2021. Recording. This is the final teaching on the thangka painting The Wheel of Life. It goes into the pure realms of the five Dhyani Buddhas, the transformation of mental afflictions and liberation.
