Medicine Buddha

On Saturday, June 6th, 2020, Lama Yeshe gave a Zoom teaching on the Short Medicine Buddha practice — from Karma Chakme’s Mountain Dharma, Volume Two taught by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche — and led us in the practice. He started the session by giving us the reading transmission for the practice; he was able to do this because he received the full reading transmission of all of Karma Chakme’s works last summer at KTD, an extraordinary event spanning many weeks. Such immense good fortune for us!

Please note that you must have taken refuge to do this practice, and it is recommended that you receive both the reading transmission and the Medicine Buddha empowerment before performing this practice on your own. Click here to watch Lama Yeshe’s April 11 talk on Refuge.

Please contact Lama Yeshe if you have questions or would like to schedule a taking refuge ceremony.

May all beings benefit!
