Twin Cities KTC AND Hay river KTC Buddhist Meditation Centers

Paramita means transcendent virtue, sometimes translated as perfection.  The paramitas are generosity, ethical conduct, patience, diligence, meditative concentration and wisdom.  By practicing these six, they become a natural part of our daily lives.  These virtues bring us along the path, developing our compassion and weakening our self cherishing.

Update Summer 2020:  Lama Yeshe is giving a new series of talks on Zoom explaining each paramita in detail, and recordings of these talks can be accessed on YouTube (see website schedule for upcoming topics).

1. Generosity [rescheduled to October 11, 2020]

2. Ethical Conduct (recorded August 23, 2020) – view YouTube video here.

3. Patience (recorded August 29, 2020) – view YouTube video here.

4. Enthusiastic Effort / Diligence (recorded September 5, 2020) – view YouTube video here.

The Hay River KTC Buddhist Meditation Center is located near Ridgeland, WI.  The center is dedicated to the teachings and practices of the authentic Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.  Lama Yeshe, a fully ordained monk in this tradition, is the resident teacher.  See our website at www.ktchayriver.org.
