On May 6, 2018 Lama Yeshe gave an explanation of the three paths of Tibetan Buddhism. There is the Hinayana, Mahayana and Vajrayana. Each path uses different methods of practice and they each have their own unique motivations. To grow and progress you will want to be following the path most suited to your current interests, motivations and level of commitment. Familiarity with The Three Paths gives you a better idea of what a practitioner, who is inspired to practice, can do to progress more quickly.
